From the businessworld to the great wild

Good day to you all! I suppose this is my first post! So, sit down and grab a warm beverage, put up your feet...I'm not choosey...hell, put it on the coffee table! Here you see the destination of my journey from the fast world of business to the quiet down home, wood choppin good life known as the Montana wilderness. Breathe in that sweet country air will ya?

Ahh...that's better! So I'll bet you're wonderin' what brought me from a life of money, women, booze and blow? Yes....there was a day where if I could drink it, I did, if I could snort it, I would. At least I admit it. Unlike a certain president of the United States. Ah, well, that's water under the bridge. We're all human and God's children depending on what you're interpretation of God is. I think God is nature and its gradeur. That's what brought a feller like me out here to the wild wild wilderness.

So, that's my baby (in the pic). Built that cabin myself with my own two hands! That pic is me hauling the darn thing from my original vacation home to the secluded wilderness. Sure, I have to use Satellite for internet, which isn't always reliable, but hey! I'm livin the dream and still able to be with my fellow creatures both human and otherwise. As secluded as I appear, I still can drive down to the local town where everybody knows your name. That's small town life.

Gone are the fast days where booze ruled my soul. Sure, I still have a belt now and then, but I keep it in moderation. It was those things, along with the demands of my business that drove me to drink. And, boy, you don't wanna see me like that. My ex-wife could tell you stories about my drinkin days gettin' smashed, passing out in local restrooms, getting my wallet stolen, screaming something incoherent at a poor feller who was minding his own business in the next stall, ah yes, those were the uncertain days!

But as we know, sometimes its the tough times which help you rise to be the best. Look at me...passed out, face down in his own vomit in a city I've never visited, with a girl that OD'd laying stiff, foaming at the mouth next to you. That oughta frighten the bajeebers outta ya! So, I straightened up, felt that there was more to life, sold the company and moved out yonder to talk with you fine folks. Hopefully, I can bring everybody together like I brought myself from a drug-addled, alcoholic, estranged stalker-ex husband to a man of true kindess and honor.

Good day to you all. Many tidings of comfort and joy! Love, Chuck.
